Our very own Director of Operations, Dennis Snider, has been named President of the Wisconsin Security Association (WISA). WISA is a professional organization whose members sell, install, monitor, and maintain electronic security systems including surveillance cameras, access control, intrusion alarms, closed circuit TV systems (CCTV) as well as integrated systems and other low voltage applications.

Dennis has been in the industry for more than 30 years and involved with WISA for the past six years. He started as WISA’s Marketing and Outreach Chair and then added the role of Secretary. He will serve as President for a two-year term. WISA is a main information hub for member organizations, as well as the public. It provides technical training throughout the state and upholds ethical standards in the industry.

“I am incredibly proud to hold the position of President,” said Dennis. “This is a quickly growing industry and there is a passion that drives us. I get to experience that with our customers, employees, and membership daily. It is a unique industry and great feeling of satisfaction to be a part of something so important. It is a tremendous feeling knowing you installed a lock-down system at a school to keep children safe or any of the protective and even life-saving systems we work with daily.”

During his tenure as president, Dennis represents WISA at all public venues, acts as spokesperson, negotiates contracts, and works to maintain strong membership through recruitment and succession planning.
